Definition of strategic Partner
The organizer (enterprise or organization) who is responsible for the cultural movement of the WCG, and hold the rights for related business opportunities at the same time.
Responsibilities of Strategic Partner
As a strategic, national, and exclusive partner of the WCG, each SP is responsible for Promoting the WCG within the territory of which they are in charge Organizing the WCG national preliminary (online/offline qualifying tournaments) as well as the national final tournament.
Organizing various supplementary exhibitions and events to be held annually in the area of which they are in charge.
Authority and Role of Strategic Partner
To Act as a promoter by promoting the ideology and the details of the WCG, and propagating them as a pan-national event, in the corresponding territory.
To Develop and Execute cultural leadership role, according to the ideology of the WCG in the corresponding territory.
To Organize the preliminaries and the national-finals for the selection of the nation's representatives.
To execute the brand strategy of the WCG by coordinating/cooperating with other strategic partners according to the guidelines provided by the WCGC, in order to develop a globally integrated WCG identity "Guidelines" indicate standard manuals that include materials on Tournament Operation, Promotion, Advertising, and Media Public Relations. These documents detail the minimum requirements that each strategic partner should follow along with the WCG theme.
To develop and execute various WCG-related businesses, in the corresponding territory.
To localize and execute business opportunities provided by the WCGC, in the corresponding territory.
The Host City for the World Cyber Games each year is determined after a careful evaluation process. Proposals are submitted by potential host cities, and visits are made to each location to inspect the proposed venues.
