WCG 2009 Asian Championship to be Held in Singapore

June 3, 2009 Singapore World Cyber Games (WCG / www.wcg.com), the organizer of the premier international video game competition, will open the WCG 2009 Asian Championship for the fourth year running in Singapore. The WCG 2009 Asian Championship will be held on July 4 and 5, 2009 concurrently with the Singapore National Finals which begins on July 3.

 

The WCG 2009 Asian Championship is a by-invitation-only tournament for 112 WCG 2008 or 2009 National Final champions in 14 countries across Asia. The countries include Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Bangladesh, Vietnam, India, China, Australia, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei and host city Singapore.
